Refund policy

Important:

Please do not return any items to us without contacting us beforehand! This would extend the processing time of your return. Please always provide us with the order number and the items concerned.

A. Cancellation Policy

Introduction

Consumers have the following right of withdrawal, whereby a consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that cannot predominantly be attributed to their commercial or self-employed professional activity:

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 30 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 30 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods.

You may use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, but it is not mandatory.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online on our website at the internet address https://www.trip-to-italy.shop (at the bottom of the footer). If you use this online function, we will immediately send you a confirmation of receipt on a durable medium (e.g. by email) containing information about the content of the withdrawal statement as well as the date and time of receipt.

To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send the notification regarding the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choosing a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this refund, we will use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees for this refund. We may refuse the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us about your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired.

We bear the costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that was not necessary to check their condition, properties and functionality.

Exclusion or Premature Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to consumers who, at the time of concluding the contract, do not belong to a member state of the European Union and whose sole place of residence and delivery address are outside the European Union at the time of concluding the contract.

General Notes

1) Please avoid damage and contamination of the goods. Please return the goods to us in their original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure adequate protection against transport damage with suitable packaging.
2) Please do not return the goods to us freight collect.
3) Please note that the above points 1-2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
